Advancing Environmentally Friendly Fleet Development Under the 'BLUE' Series Tokyo - February 06, 2026
MOL is moving ahead with the development of a fleet powered primarily by clean, low impact alternative fuels. As part of this environmentally friendly fleet, the vessels feature a new hull design that blends the corporate color "BLUE," symbolizing the ocean, with "Turquoise," representing the group's environmental initiatives. This design visually expresses the MOL Group Mission: "From the blue oceans, we sustain people's lives and ensure a prosperous future." It reflects the group's strong commitment to realizing a sustainable society.

TotalEnergies has built a strong relationship with the MOL Group across multiple fields, including marine fuel trading and long-term charter agreements for LNG carriers and LNG bunkering vessels. This charter agreement will further strengthen the partnership. The MOL Group positions environmental strategy as a core pillar of its group management plan, "BLUE ACTION 2035." Under the "MOL Group Environmental Vision 2.2," it has set a target of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. Moving forward, the group will continue to pursue this target through concerted group-wide efforts, contributing to the creation of a decarbonized society. Specifications
