The Naming Ceremony of No.2 38,800 DWT Held

The naming of No.2 38,800DWT bulk carrier was held in Chengxi Shipyard at 10:30 a.m. on June 27. The new vessel was built for CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Leasing Co., Ltd. Present at the ceremony were Ms. Yin Hao, General Manager of Bocom, Mr. Cui Ming, Director of Financial Section, Financial Dept. CSSC, Mr. Boris Jivotenko, Managing Director of Aquavita, Mr. Yang Li, President of CSSC Leasing, Mr. Wang Yongliang, Chairman & Secretary to Party Committee of Chengxi Shipyard, Mr. Lu Ziyou, President of Chengxi Shipyard, Mr. Zhou Jianxiang, Vice-President of Chengxi Shipyard and other related leaders and guests.

The ceremony started with the speech by Mr. Lu Ziyou, who mentioned that the No.2 38,800 DWT bulk carrier was a great achievement by the integration strategy of CSSC’s financing, design and new building, featuring environmental protection and energy-efficiency etc, and it also fulfilled all the forward-looking requirements of new rules and regulations with the most cutting-edge design. He also expressed his hearty thanks to all the owners, supervision team, and classifications.

Following that, Mr. Yang Li, and Mr. Boris Jivotenko made speeches by extending their appreciation for Chengxi’s good job and dedication in constructing this great vessel. And they also expected a further cooperation between the three parties in future.

Lastly, the Vessel was named by Ms. Yin Hao into “M.V. Dolce Vita”. She wished the vessel a safe journey in future.
